it IS a vintage classic!
slap a tag on it "horseless forklift"
chuckles under his breath
Thanks for the info. I was guessing it might just be worth its weight in scrap value, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't scrapping some vintage classic :)
Your's is a reach truck, the forks will reach out. The picture of the RBF is a straddle truck, the outrigger legs, with the wheels on them, are wide enough to straddle the pallet. Your wiring diagram, for a straddle truck, is not for your truck, but probably the same. In the 60's Yale called the reach truck a RDE and the straddle a RDF. Your's may be a the earlier version of the RDE, called a Warehouser Extend-A- Load. I think I found a manual on E Bay for it, item # 360375375648. Here is the newer version RDE, item # 380354222387.
As for value, OMG!, it is a completely obsolete 12 volt, resistor controlled, hunk of scrap metal. The battery is worth more per pound than steel so if you do junk it make sure you are aware of that. Value is about $400- $500 ??
