Hello to all. Does anybody give me any advice or to tell any experience with control unit Zapi FZ5018C? This unit controls 2 AC motors for a drive and 1 DC motor for a lift ( hydraulic). The main problem is an electronic part for lifting - after some time of working ( 2 years , 2 moths , 2 hours... nobody knows what time it is going to be :-) ) power MOS transistors are broken and completely burnt and destroyed. I already got fixed the same unit 2 times ( replaced MOS transistors ( about 20 pcs) and opto coupler with a pair of 2 transistors -drivers for MOS ). First , it had worked for 4-5 hours then went to the **** , for the second time it was ok 4 weeks and the same problem appeared. I was told ( Yale technician here in Slovakia) , they already do not know where is the common problem - nobody from Zapi tells anything. They simply change the unit (Yale technicians) and it is. People from company which I fix this forklif for ,told me they have 4-5 forklifts and all of them already have got changed Zapi control unit. (probably with the same error - non working lift). hello Vlado I was have that like error,it means that battery have bed capacity and when you charge the battery do not have power to work for 3-4hours and if you force it with forward-backward and hydraulic in some time, time is much shorter and cables heat to much.Please if you can try with good battery and you will see difference.It is incredibly how many errors start from bed power.Please try and tell me what do you do.Good luck
Hello nemanja , that's very interesting what you say... when you say this , is it because of more cases that you have experience with ? I would agree that a bad battery can causes something like this... What does the bad battery mean ? Not capacity enough for powering MOS with some bad ( lower ) level for electronic controls which can be a cause of wrong controlling MOS? The microprocessor's control of many forklift is very smart , lots of sensors , lots of sensing of any more parameters... not enough to stop any bad conditions ? Tell me more if you have anything more to this case , I do not think I would think about some problem with battery , thanks to you I have come to something that can help. ahoj geroj , ja jednotky do vozikov opravujem iba sporadicky , viac som pri CNC -kach v hocijakom priemysle...ale v podstate mi je jedno aku elektroniku treba opravit... k tejto Zapi som sa dostal asi pred 2 mesiacmi a medzitym ich mam v dielni asi 4kusy.Doniesli mi ich servismeni z Yale ktori ich iba menia. Nespominas aku jednotku mas , je to ten isty typ alebo nieco ine? Co sa tyka chyb na zberniciach (co spominas ) tak z vlastnej skusenosti som mal niekolko pripadov podobnych chyb ale nie na vozikoch ale pri seriovych komunikaciach na CNC strojoch a vzdy bola chyba iba na komunikacnych obvodoch -teda integracov ktore su na jednej alebo druhej strany seriovej linky ( vacsinou obvody typu 7LB176 alebo PCA82C250 alebo... 251 alebo nieco podobne )

Hi mate,
I was have same situation and it is **** when you see what is problem.Your battery is bed and she do not have power for that unit and motors but that motors need power and mos feet burns.Please see that and tell me if I am wrong.
