SUPER PC-8 ISSUES

Greetings: I have a Yale Stand Up truck that uses the Super PC-8 Power Assembly Pt.# (5019375-01) Recently it started blowing the 3.15 amp fuses and of corse no fwd or rev... I pulled the Power assembly as our contract repair company informed us that it was obsolete, the truck and the controller...
I found the SCR TH1 bad and replaced it with an NTE replacement. Lasted 5 mins and same thing. Is there anyplace that re-furbs these controllers? Hate to give up as I really enjoy this old beast. Seem even some of the electronic components are getting scarse...

Years ago I work on many of these, a better fit is to update the unit to Curtis as that is what Yale went to right after Super 8. Curtis is still being service and made and it will work well with the motor you have.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
