Clark ECG25 display removal

New here and I feel like an idiot. Has anyone removed a dash display from an ECG25 Clark? This is the horse shoe shaped display that wraps around the steering column. The problem is the dog leg shaped bracket that the interface connector is mounted to. No way to remove it as the ribbon connector is not removable at either end and not enough room to pass through the cowl opening. I have worked on a lot of strange ones in my 35 years but this one is baffling. Thanks for any assistance. Bil

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
