Discussion:
Hydraulic pump running on

Hydraulic motor runs on for over a minute when levers are operated then stops on its own, not when the handle is released within a reasonable time. If key is turned off it stops, is as if chopper is staying open for long time or such.
Anybody run accross this before

Hi Hugo, lever switches are ok this is a contactor truck
contactors come in and stay in for over a minute before
opening, contact tips are ok and are not sticking,
something is telling them to stay on for this period of time.
In the book it says 10 minutes but that must be a misprint.

Hi Burto, it is a bit strange but have you all ready controlled the switches on the hydraulic levers and the contact tips on the contactor? Is this only on lifting or also on tilting the mast? Out of your question I understand that your truck isn't a contactor powered hydraulic motor in Europe we have nothing else. Just let know what type it is, than I can look it up and see where the problem could be.
Kind regards
