Discussion:
No Linde support in my area

Hello. We are a forklift company in central Florida that has several customers with Linde lifts. In our area, there is virtually NO support from the Linde dealer in our area. We are interested in becoming a Linde authorized work station, but are not in becoming a dealer at this point. Does anyone know if Linde US has these types of relationships with repair stations or who we might approach about this? We also own several Lindes and like the lifts, but occasionally we need the Linde software to do regens, t/s, etc. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Will do, sir. Appreciate the help. Looking for a good tech... if you'd consider a move to Orlando, FL. lol.

I'm curious to know the result of your contact with Kion. Would you be willing to share? if not here, you could email me for privacy.
I was contacted by Kion in regards to my inquiry and have not yet responded to them.
I am factory trained on Linde products and have a lot of experience dealing with the 39x series machines.
Although I have been out of forklift world for almost 4 years, i still may be able to lend a hand with some technical support. There are some things that I figured out a work around for troubleshooting without using Pathfinder.

Good luck.

You could try contacting Linde product support at the KION group in Summerville SC.
Just don't get your hopes up. Manufacturers protect their dealerships even when the dealership sucks.
You would have better luck going through a customer to get your software needs fulfilled. As a customer, manufacturers are required to provide access to service information and diagnostic gear.
Expect an initial cost of $2000.00 and an annual license fee.
