Discussion:
lift/electric problems

I have a skyjack 6832 ser#80447 manufactured date of 12/94. All the functions work as they should except the up function from the platform. From platform the up function works intermediately. The pump always runs but the platform doesn't raise. I have had two different skyjack dealers here to diagnose it plus I have spent countless hours trying to figure it out. I should add that the up function always works from the switch on the base. It seems like when the platform control fails the voltage in the lift looses a volt or 1.5 volts not sure why. I have replaced every switch, button and e-stop. I replaced the up solenoid and coil pack. I replaced the pump and motor. The batteries and charger are new and work as they should. As far as the wiring goes I have plugged the platform control inn at the base eliminating the wiring harness in the stack. I have basically ran jumper wires to eliminate any bad wire in the machine and found nothing wrong. I bypassed the battery shut off switch. I am at a loss with this thing any ideas would be appreciated.
