Next Generation Materials Handling company Exalt - MH are set to improve the air quality around the Globe with their revolutionary Modulift H2 counter balance forklift truck. The Modulift H2 will be the world first full production hydrogen fuel cell powered counter balance forklift truck.
Exalt - MH are a new Global start-up company who are to raise $2,000,000 from a number of potential middle eastern based investors to develop and test their Revolutionary variable platform counter balance forklift. The range will cover counter balance forklift with lift capacities from 2,000kg - 16,000kg and an 8,000kg 8 high stacking empty container handling forklift These machines will be powered by 40Kw,60Kw,80Kw,120KW, 160Kw and 180Kw Hydrogen fuel cell power packs, and will run 12kw,15Kw, 22kw and 33kw electric drive motors.
Today's world is changing and companies all need new ways to improve their environmental foot print. At the moment customers of Counter Balance Forklift manufactures have a number of choices for their equipment. Unfortunately, these have been problematic regarding the capability of answering questions of improving the air quality, efficiency, and ease to operate. Customers who choose all electric forklifts have the problems of the giant battery room that consumed lots of real estate. The maintenance of battery, watering systems, racking, lost time for driver's waiting in line to change batteries at a single spot, the time they have to drive getting there, wait in line, then replace a battery...can be half an hour or more Then, there is the damage batteries can cause to trucks. Plugs wear out from constant unhooking, get broken or crushed. Batteries get tired, some worse than others, and it causes driver's to lose time because their battery lasted only 4 hrs. many batches of new batteries come in, with 25% failing early on. Driver's know which batteries are duds, and avoided them. batteries caused many failures in electronics by going too low in voltage and too high in current. Customers also need 3 batteries for a 24-hour shift operation
Then there is the choice of IC engine powered forklifts these are genially the most pollutant type of machines and can cause the most damage to the environment.
Exalt answer to these problems is their Hydrogen fuel cell forklifts they are 100% zero emission and unlike electric forklifts don't have the same problems with Cumbersome battery charging and multiple batteries for different **** patterns. The Exalt hydrogen fuel cell forklift can be fully refuelled in less than 5 minutes form the onsite rapid response electrolyser that efficiently converts surplus renewable electricity into hydrogen gas. The Exalt Modulift H2 range of forklifts would have an hourly range of between 35-45 hours before the need to refuel.
The operator of the new modulift H2 will be more productive. The distinctive feature of the newly designed Exalt cabin is a large glass panel that unites the front window with the side windows. The exclusion of the A-pillar combined with the curved window design allows an outstanding panoramic view for the driver. fork tip and rear view camera ensure a complete view at the front and behind the machine. This guarantees maximum safety of the workers, the machine and the load, while increasing productivity at the same time. Versatile ergonomic adjustments of the driver seat ensure high comfort and thereby reduce fatigue
Pedals are installed for acceleration and braking of the Modulift H2. The machine is operated by an ergonomic adjustable steering wheel. The function buttons on the steering wheel control all the ModuliftH2 function direction control is selected by using the switches on the rear of the steering wheel while the lift / lowering and tilt functions are handled by function buttons on the front of the steering wheel
The large Screen behind the steering wheel allows the operator to always be able to view the outside of the machine and the touchscreen human machine interface are within easy reach and does not disturb the outside view as well as all operating and signalling elements. The operating and control instruments are well laid out and are user-friendly. All operation-relevant data can be recorded quickly and efficiently. To the drives own personal tablet in the control console. The efficiently level of operating comfort allows the operator to work particularly efficiently and safe.
So, having read the above one can only presume that the onsite electrolyser has been replaced with delivery trucks for the ammonia.
All these other companies building hydrogen fuel cells are going about it the wrong way according to the above, but at least they have products in the marketplace and have customers.
But of course, Dave can't tell us who his customers are because of confidentiality. Pity really, because my company are looking to replace the MHE fleet across several sites and going green is the eventual aim.
As I have said we will launch of equipment in our own time not to suit people on a forum
None of you are our customers, so why do we need to show you our equipment.
This post was about how the future of materials handling equipment could develop. There will be many opportunities to develop better products that suit the markets better. Ammonia IC engines will be one of a number of different options out there.
So why not contribute to the discussion
We do post regular updates on our equipment but not on hear
and blah blah blah blah...
what does ANY of that big mfg nonsense have ANYTHING to do with the ONE THING we have been pointing out for a very long time now?
EVERY TIME you use this to deflect and sidetrack the ONE single thing we've been saying...
Where is this machine you've been promising to deliver to the world?
Until you show it "in REAL TIME"
Our only conclusion is that YOU are Blowing smoke up everyone's azz mister.
"who" any of us work for has nothing to do with calling you out on it.
nice try though :oP
There are around six people on hear that don't like what we are doing, some of them are connected or have been concerted to Hyster Yale in one form or another so they certainly don't like what we are saying about hyster yale. On hyster yale this is my opinion and looking at their results my opinion seems to be correct. I do believe a Chines OEM like Hangcha will purchase hyster yale with in the next couple of years. The main reason for this is the fact that hyster yale will have very large write downs on two projects NUVERA and Maximal, NUVERA believe hydrogen fuel cells will work and have invested over $150 million in this area. So lets look at what JCB say on Hydrogen fuel cells
They made a fuel cell prototype, a 20 tonne excavator. They started to understand the complex challenge of putting a fuel cell into a piece of construction equipment. Construction equipment machines need energy quickly, whereas fuel cells are better suited to a more gentle environment. And they started to realise fuel cells weren't too good for response, were too complicated and too expensive for the market that they serve
It will be the fact hyster yale have bet the house on hydrogen fuel cell technology that will see them be sold. Like what has been pointed out they are a public traded company and when Hangcha make a bid the shareholders will say enough is enough and sell
YOU said-
"I Can say that wants (should be ONCE) we are able to show our machines and our equipment then we will " A very vague statement IMHO.
Dave you have already announced on these boards multiple time frames of your launch or exhibit of your ammonia eater.. Go back and reread what you have stated in black and white on FAC.
Glad you weren't the script writer for Walt Disney's Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. That carriage would have a better than 99.9999% chance of turning into a pumpkin.
Plus, read how many times you have mentioned Yale-Hyster or Hyster-Yale
Firstly I'm not bad mouthing Hyster im just pointing out what people don't put, ChrisK pointed out Hyster results for Q3 what he didn't point out was how much they lost. Now ok you could say they might make money again eventually and yes they might. But what I have pointed out before is that Hyster will loose money now they are loosing money. Hyster had to take a $25 Milllion dollar cash write down Q3 last year on Nuvera and will take more in the coming Years. If you were to Look at KION results for Q3 they had a Turnover of over 8 Billion Euro with a EBITof over 200 Million Euro
On our Truck, we are progressing very nicely thank you, but due to confidentiality agreements with certain parties we cant discuss our plans but , I Can say that wants we are able to show our machines and our equipment then we will
Lifter,
Totally agree with you.
How many years have all these questions been asked?
Now days is there any OEM or dealer that is not taking a huge margin lose due to current economic conditions?
Hyster/Yale is a publicly traded company which means that someone expects them to make money at some point.
Come on Dave people are asking you valid questions and all you seem to be able to do is once again bad mouth Hyster/yale. We're over a year from when you told us you would reveal your wonder truck so 1 answer the questions you've been asked and 2 do what you've promised to do several times now and show the truck
He is probably busy collecting and burying acorns for the winter with his fine fury friends.
I have yet to get an answer of any kind on the last couple of questions i have posted to that person we call dave
How much were your sales and how many units did you ship last quarter?
Operating loss $24.9 million
Hyster-Yale has reported third-quarter 2022 revenues increasing by 13.1% from the same time last year while unit shipments grew by 5.6%.
Ok what is the spec on the fueling connectors?
What is the servicing pressure for the fuel system?
Is available in a LPS Version?
whoa, that last post of his was pretty clear what this is all about
don't blink or you'll miss it...
get it yet?
Firstly they is over 2,000 miles of ammonia pipe line in North America so getting ammonia would not be hard. What we will do is supply the ammonia with trucks so no matter where you are ammonia can easily be supplied
Second valuation, this is really quite hard to do first you will have what someone or a company is willing to pay and secondly what someone or a company is willing to accept.
For our project this is confidential as we are not a public traded company Where the markets decided the value with the market cap.if some wants to purchase a company they decide the price they want to pay , if the shareholders are happy it gets accepted if not it doesn't
In North America you have some SPACS with market caps over a billion but they have never sold a product. So value is a matter for both companies and shareholders
OK what is your company net worth today. BTW you have never answered my question about the fueling connectors and the fuel suppliers here in texas for your supertruck.
It will all depend on how the majority shareholders look at it, will they want to sell, will they want to take it private, will they just hope they can turn the company round.
Hyster Yale brand recognition is quite strong so the brands might stay around but as a stand alone company or part of a larger organisation that will depend.
Hyster Yale are not going away.
