There are around six people on hear that don't like what we are doing, some of them are connected or have been concerted to Hyster Yale in one form or another so they certainly don't like what we are saying about hyster yale. On hyster yale this is my opinion and looking at their results my opinion seems to be correct. I do believe a Chines OEM like Hangcha will purchase hyster yale with in the next couple of years. The main reason for this is the fact that hyster yale will have very large write downs on two projects NUVERA and Maximal, NUVERA believe hydrogen fuel cells will work and have invested over $150 million in this area. So lets look at what JCB say on Hydrogen fuel cells

They made a fuel cell prototype, a 20 tonne excavator. They started to understand the complex challenge of putting a fuel cell into a piece of construction equipment. Construction equipment machines need energy quickly, whereas fuel cells are better suited to a more gentle environment. And they started to realise fuel cells weren't too good for response, were too complicated and too expensive for the market that they serve

It will be the fact hyster yale have bet the house on hydrogen fuel cell technology that will see them be sold. Like what has been pointed out they are a public traded company and when Hangcha make a bid the shareholders will say enough is enough and sell

Fact of the week

When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
