Steering Twitching and Grinding Noise

Linde L14AP, Serial No: W4X372P02159

Once the truck is switched on, the steering mechanism is constantly twitching from side to side as if it's not locating itself and it's making a grinding noise when driving?

Any ideas on what to check first, is it likely to be a steering sensor issue?
