Thanks all for the responses. As I mentioned..it is a bad master cylinder. Figured that out because when I parked it the wheels wouldn't turn. Got up in the morning and they were free...indicating that the master cylinder backed down some overnight.
I am confident that Helmar has the cylinder...thanks again.
