The FTP60-24 is a basic 6000 lb.@24" load center rated lift truck with a 2 stage mast. If this model number is complete the unit is a gasoline engine powered (A-C G230 6 cylinder) with two speed "oil clutch" transmission that A-C built. The actual lift capacity rating would depend on the mast type (2 or 3 stage), mast lifting height & any front end attachments like a side shifter, fork positioner, etc. The serial number is stamped into the frame and on the truck data plate. This is an "older" model. My guess 1960's era and probably built at the Harvey, Illinois plant. But the s/n would be needed to determine that. There are serial number guides & maybe some "old timers' on these board might have more insight, than I - worked for AC from '67 t o' 81. Trashed all my lfit truck files 7 info two days after I retired in 2007.
Allis Chalmers went out of business in mid 80's - service parts & tech info are hard to find.
