Broken parts were defective Toyota replaced with new parts, only Toyota engineers have worked on truck so should be latest cankey/Truckcom unless Toyota are using out of date equipment! All RREs are 2t and all a year old or less.
Will check package version but as one truck is only about 3 months it should be latest version as these machines were made to order.
I had to repair some of the customers 7 series models after the Toyota engineers had fixed so I don't have great confidence in their workmanship, basic things like bolts not torqued, wires trapped causing circuits to burn out.
I've already suggested to the owner to raise the continuing fault code reoccurence with Toyota but as yet I haven't heard any response.
Getting back to the fault code 2:004 have you experienced and what are causes/countermeasures?
