I'm not familiar with your exact model- could you send a picture of the regulator to my e-mail? If the engine starts on either than you are correct in your assumption that you have a fuel issue.
Did the regulator freeze over before the engine quit? Did the engine stumble then quit or stop like you turned off the key?
