You also need to understand the Mitsusbishi engine Clark used was not made in Japan. It was made in Korea under a licensing agreement. Just a couple key differences is the Clark version had dynamic (Lancaster type) balancers for the crank shaft & the front crank pulley was different as the Mitsubishi fork lifts drove the hydraulic pump off the crank.
