code 47 looks to me like a #2 rec not turning on, and this would agree with your stated symptoms. maybe #2 rec you replaced is in backwards? or is a bad rec? this assumes that you have completely ruled out bad "at rest" directional contactors. (pulling in is not enough, it has to make good contact when "at rest" also)
