I have a mf 6500h ruff train fork lift with a shuttle shift fairly certain that it has a pump issue. I cleaned the suction screen and changed the high side filter. still no go forward or revers. checked the voltage to cylinoid on top of transmission. it is getting voltage when shifter lever activated.
I have got it to move a few times, but it is not reliable. you don't k own if it will move when you start it. when it moves you can do whatever you need to then 10 minutes later. you get on it no go. I thought it was strange that there was air bubbles in the fluid you think this could be a bad hose on the suction side of the pump. it has 2 rubber hoses one by the suction screen and one by the transmission. it is a perkins engine and transmission. anyone know any thing about this thing. my massey dealer is scratching his head, and we bought it from them in 1980.
