Hi, I have a problem with my caterpillar 2.5 tonne forklift. It is a 1995 model with the fingtip controls. Lately the hydraulic system shut down altogether we had a few broken wires and they must have caused some damage in the controller. It had been kicking up for a while before that happened sometimes I would lose tilt and all of a sudden it would come back. A new controller could cost over 1000 euros.
My question was does anyone have any experience of information on what I would need to do to convert this to the lever type valve chest is it just a matter of swapping the existing solenoid valve block to lever type or is there more I will need to do. Any information would be appreciated
Thank you
Mark
