Hello, I have a Toyota gas Flt. 4Y engine ( no catalyst)
It has the aisan regulator on it.
When running it is fine, but struggles to start. There isn't any pressure to the mixer when it's cranking. The lock valve is fine. There is a smaller solenoid on top of the unit. I think this is to allow gas upon start up. If anyone could please clarify that would be greatly appreciated.

If I remove this valve and crank, there is pressure there but it's not passing this valve and entering the fuel supply pipe.

The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
