A new LID would require the software installing with BT TruckCom software before it would work - they come with NO software installed.

What is wrong with your current LID?

There is a known fault where the solder joint breaks at the connector socket due to the plastic body of the socket vibrating, take the LID apart, where the main black connector socket is turn the PCB over & you will see the 4 pins soldered to the PCB - the solder joints break there.

Reflow the 4 solder joints & then add some glue / silicone sealant to the black plastic part of the connector socket to hold it securely to the PCB.
