The change of type of tiller arm switch was a new feature in newer software packages - does the software package installed in the head card of the truck actually have the parameter required listed?

Why are you trying to change the type of switch on this truck? Whats the full story of the truck? head card? switch?

Older trucks had a mechanical type switch fitted but these can cause issues / break as the truck ages / wear & tear.

Later trucks have an inductive switch & once set up never cause any issues.

A brand new programed head card would come with the parameter set for an inductive switch as default.
