Firstly you ovelsley don't know the technology out there today, this type of system has been shown to be more productive than hydraulic cylinders in other industries. What you have done is look at old material on the internet with out knowing what is coming in the future.

Like i have said the materials handling industry has a blinkered view on technology and is very slow to grasp new ideas. a bit like Nokia, Blackbury Toys R us and many of the other companies that have known about new technologies and just have died because they did not innervate.

The future of this industry has now turned a significant corner and new technologies are coming to disrupt the industry. Automation will change warehousing, energy generation will change the market for larger trucks and mobile container handling.

Customers want three main things today

1 Sustainability

2 efficiency

3 Operator drive ability

None of the OEM'S in this industry offer all these some offer different parts and some other different ideas. But known offer what the customer wants or needs. Why have Apple been able to change industries so easily. simple because they gave the customer what they wanted even though the customer didn't know they wanted it
