Raymond 8410 walkie programming

I've got ten 8410's in my warehouse, and they all perform differently in terms of acceleration and neutral breaking, despite them all being used for the same task. It seems I can acess the programming menu by holding down the horn while powering on, but from there, I don't know what I'm doing, our how to confirm any changes I make.

Can anyone let me know how to make setting changes, or maybe direct me to a user manual, provided that would have the info I need?

Take me as i come, cause i can't stay long....
I have the same issue with our 8210 Raymond. I can get to parameter 1, but the horn button does not cause the parameter to flash so I can change it. The horn also works fine in normal mode.

Sorry guys for some serious thread necromancy, but this is the closest I've come to finding how to change the parameters on this same walkie rider. I can get into parameters, but pressing the horn doesn't select the option/make it start blinking. Any ideas?

I was wondering if you could help me to reset my software in the charger on an 8210, i was told that sometimes you can loose the software and it will think it is charging a lithium battery or something and that it needs to be reset to lead acid

Any knowledge of this
Thanks

You need the dealer plug that fits into the com port. it's a red box a few inches in diameter. It lets you change the parameters beyond the first 10.

I do have the key for the unit. I just ended up buying a new keypad for it. Thank you. Can you still tell me the process of bypassing that keypad for future reference.

yes, it can be disabled. But it`s locked out, until you connect a `CAN key
You can revert back to key switch only

Hey ray tech, this is the only tread I found about the 8410. The one I'm working on has the optional key pad. I was wondering if I could just disable that? Thank you

You can program the trucks, as long as they are not locked out with a laptop. hold horn button on while turning on key, release only when "P" shows. This is parameters. H= Hours meters E= errors and D=diagnostic with "Pn" for part #s
At "P", turn throttle to Par 01. this is Max speed walking (without rabbit) or in coast. 0-42% IF ENABLED, hit horn button, the parameter showing will flash. If flashing, you can change it by rotating the throttle
Other parameters are 02, Maximum speed, with rabbit.. 0-100% Set it to what you want. recommend 80%
next is 03 Accelerate rate. 1-5 scale. 5 is gentle ! will toss the machine into the wall each time like a jack rabbit. Set it to 3
Don't mess with P4,P5,
P6 is max speed without rabbit. 0-66%
P7 is Accelerate rate for walking speed. 1-5 with 5 gentlest
Do not mess with other options!
Again, hit horn button to enable change, rotate throttle to raise or lower settings, hit horn to accept. And don't show the drivers this!

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
