keeps lowering after letting off lowering button on platform controls and manual controls

unit keeps lowering down after you hit the lowering button it stops when pushing up on the button it does this on both the manual control and platform control any ideas what would cause this thanks

Sounds like a possible sticking solenoid valve in the hydraulics....lyou have the complete model and serial number.....jlg offers all their manuals for download on their website..lbothnservice and parts manuals....
