Discussion:
Replaced push rod tube orings now wont start

I set valve lash to.012", I have spark, compression tested with all plugs out i got 177, 177, 174,175. My firing order is correct at 1342 and going proper direction on distributor. Placed #1 at TDC on compression stroke and placed wire 1 where rotor pointed. Engine cranks but not even a hint of combustion. LP tank is full and lp is reaching the engine. My condensor on distributor was not connected when I took it apart for oring seal replacment. Where does the condensor get wired to? I have verified spark physically on all 4 plugs tremselves as well as with spark tester. Help! My model is S40XL and my engine is Mazda M4-121G

I read your post as for were the condensed hooks up to it is bolted to the distributor case and hooked to the neg post on the distributor it is used on a points distributor. If some one changed the distributor to solid state that would be why the condensed is not hooked up. I don't think that is the problem. Hard to tell what is wrong with good compression it should runwould bleed the tank down and try a small amount of starting fluid and see if it starts do not spray a large amount this will tell you if you have a gas problem or spark
Remember you need three things to start a motor spark fuel and air.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
