Discussion:
Raymond EASI R40TT code 2G?

I am working on a Raymond EASI R40TT SERIAL DT-06-15328
Truck broke down with no travel (lift worked) with no codes on display. After checking found curtis 1236 controller flashing code 37. Did the checks for the code and found the drive motor has clear signs of burning on V phase and encoder bearing tested bad. Sent motor out to be repaired and reinstalled motor. Truck now has a code 2G on display and no travel or lift. All cables and encoder/wiring test good. I can't find any information for this code in the manual, so assume it was a service bulletin release with a software update. If anyone could provide any insight as to this code it would be greatly appreciated. Dont want to start parts changing. Thanks.

That's what the 37 code reads on the curtis too (motor open). I know the motor is good now as the repair shop tested it while I was there. So the controller must have been taken out when the motor shorted. Just wanted to make sure before replacing it. Thanks

I found a 2G code in multiple other Raymond manuals says " Phase open on traction motor. "

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
