Problem with the folklift R14

Hello,

My folkloft R14G stops while driving first shows an error S278
then these errors also appear T241, T471
Sometimes this is fixed quickly after switching off and on again, but it often happens that I wait longer than a few hours.
Please help with advice

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the comprehensive answer.
Before taking action, I want to answer the following question.
Is it possible that the error S278 is due to a weak battery ? / my 48 volt battery is well maintained, but it is already 13 years old /, when loaded it drops to 44.5-44 volts.

Thanks
Vesselin

Fault S278 = Steering wheel potentiometer error
T241 = Safety signal from steering is off
T471 = Safety controller has cut out traction because of detected error

Check steering wheel potentiometer
