Discussion:
Overheating problem

This unit has low hours and the problem we are having is it shuts down after the temp sensor senses 240 degrees. We have done all the normal checks, it has a Cat C4.4 engine. After putting a heat gun to the block it is showing to only be 190 degrees and the radiator shows to be 240 degrees.

Has anyone seen this issue on an Omega? The reason I am asking is because we have another one with the same issue at a different location.

Is the fan suppose to be an away or a pusher?

Any thoughts?
