Discussion:
Mystery Yale forklift photographed today - calling on Yale experts?

Hmmm this doesn't seem to fit quite in with the photogallery so I guess this place is the best bet. I can't attach pictures here so if anyone is a Yale forklift expert, or can tell model numbers apart (I certainly cannot), then can you please reply on here or send me an email so I can forward the picture to you.

From the few Hyster machines I've seen in the past, I'm guessing the lift capacity of this machine would be around 2-3 tons. Its rare that these things are just parked up where I can get pictures of them so I jumped at the chance to snap a pic. Yale isn't a usual manufacturer that I see either, Linde, JCB or Manitou normally around here.

Any assistance at all will be most appreciated!

Hi again Kevin

For some reason the email address you gave just keeps bouncing, saying its not recognised. I'm semi-familiar with the code as its almost standard on most message forums these days to stop spambots from sending junk mail to a displayed address.

Please send me an email at balacau-at-btinternet-dot-co-dot-uk

Thanks

Hi Kevin.

I'm based near Newcastle, in the good ol' North-east. Well it was good when we had industry up here anyway...

Seen a few fairly large forklifts last time I walked past the former Swan Hunter's shipyard, didn't get close enough to see what make they were.

Picture of the Yale forktruck is on its way. Thanks for any help you can provide!
