Discussion:
Mast raises when turning

We have a lift that the mast raises when any axillary function is requested and the handle is slightly depressed. We found a faulty svby valve and replaced it but it did not fix the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Whenever this happens you need to make sure the multitask handle base is not worn out before replacing your lift/lower pot, the detent worns out causing the issue. Generally I replace the base and the pot since I'm already in it.
Ps: excessive play on multitask handle is an indicator of a worn out base.

If it ain't broken...you know...
Sounds like the lift pot needs to be calibrated. you can also check the phillips screws on the inside of the yellow half-sphere shaped cover. they come loose and cause unwanted play in the handle that effects neutral position for lift and travel
