Discussion:
LRG 425 engine with efi

Hi all!
I have a big problem with a Ford LRG 425 efi in a Genie S45 serie6077.

The engine turn very well on Lpg but on gaz it turn like 3 cylinder and ossillate.

At low idle it start bad but stabilise much after a time.. on high idle it run like 3cylinder on 4 and hesitate
I tried a lots of things to correct that with out succes! but when I disconnect the 2nd engine coolant sensor the efi sistem work well! I tried 2 new sensor and it change nothing, i think the efi engine go in loop mode when I disconnect it but I dont understant what is the problem when its connected. All other sensor seem to be ok.... :/

Tried: Brand new map, Fuel rail rail assy with 4 injector from other 425, throtle body with intake and ait, temps sensor #1(choke switch) and 2nd sensor, ecm, cam sensor(change nothing pluged or not..???), crank sensor seem to be ok because engine dont start if wire short.
Spark plug brand new, gapped...compression 180-185psi on 4 cylinder, no coolant leak(stay at 20Psi on test),I'm about to verify the wiring harness monday but why can cause thats only runing well with a ECS engine coolant sensor disconect??? I have the model with ford Service adaptor who take 2 ecm connector to 2 other with cam sensor, somebody know that?????

No error code except if I disconnect something!

Some other ideas on my problem please????

Tried brand new gaz too!

Mike,
Did you ever figure out the issue with your machine? I am having the same problem with my Genie Z45/22. I would appreciate you sharing what you discovered.
Thanks
