Discussion:
LIFT WONT MOVE

I have a Hyster S100FTBCS serial #H004V03571M
that wont move. Code 177-4 "brake temp too high" goes reduced travel mode. Goes into forward for a sec then drops back into neutral, wont come out of neutral until key is cycled off. Transmission is freshly rebuilt.

Chandler,

This code shows as Transmission temp OORL. Since trans was rebuilt, check wire harness for temp sensor, wire 367 should be around 5 volts. Check using white wire at sensor. If no voltage move ground to battery negative. Still no voltage, check transmission controller. If you have voltage, suspect sensor. Make sure harness has not been damaged. Good Luck

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
