We have a Komatsu FB13MJ-2E, Serial no: 21058, YOM 1996. It is throwing up fault codes F12 and F28 - can anyone advise or point us in direction of what they mean?

For some reason the forward tilt function didn't work at all and when under load it won't lift a heavy pallet. Could this be the valve block or the hydraulic pump? Many thanks. No fault codes present.

Hello Staffy, isn't there a company that repairs electro motors. If you want a new one contact Komatsu UK, but I guess it would be expensive.

Hello, Thanks for you quick response.
Further investigation found that it is the drive motor that drives the steering...it was the left hand controller giving the error (looking at it from the rear of course)
does the drive motor need replacing? if so any ideas where I can source one? thank you again
also do you have any documentation relating to this fork lift that may be of use to me? much appreciated
Hello, control the wiring of all motors and remove all black covers of the 3 controllers and see witch controller is giving the error. We had a problem with the power steering motor in the past.

I have a komastsu fb13m-3e with fault code 14. i have checked main contactor and i believe its working ok as its engaging after start up...any other ideas what it could be?
also do you have a spare parts list? as cant locate spares anywhere lol

F12 defective forward reverse switch
F28 current sensor defective
