Hello, Thanks for you quick response.
Further investigation found that it is the drive motor that drives the steering...it was the left hand controller giving the error (looking at it from the rear of course)
does the drive motor need replacing? if so any ideas where I can source one? thank you again

also do you have any documentation relating to this fork lift that may be of use to me? much appreciated
