Discussion:
Info. on EE/EX used fork-lift

I'm located in Israel working in a company dealing with gases and chemicals logistics. We had an audit by a US insurance assesor requesting that we will use EX proof fork lift in the combustible storage bay. I'm checking what the proper NFPA requires, but during my search in Israel I found that there is only one EX fork-lift in all the country (at Intel). The quote for new system is harendous. Can someone let me know if there is a possibility to purchase a 2-3 ton second hand (refurbished) system in the US or in Europe?

problem you have is that most ex,protected trucks are built to specific spec to match specific hazards on site. example ; explosive dust is different class to explosive gas. you need to speak to pyroban ltd. best in the game.and get someone to do a full risk assessment of your storage area. also different rules in different countries

Thanks for using the Discussion forums......First step, suggest you look at "Marketplace" on our website. Example, search for Forklifts ICE and then do an advanced search for Counter balance ICE; Keyword: flame / explosion proof. I found 5x machines there.
Next, while on marketplace if you do not find the machine you need you could send out a "Machine Wanted" request which goes to hundreds of participating dealers.
Then have a look at our Business Directory, you will find 145 companies who supply Forklifts - Flame/Explosion Proof....note in particular the ones who have a Shopfront on our website.
That should give you a good start and an idea of the world market. Good hunting......

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
