Gary, I'm pleased that you have been able to determine which truck you have.
I notice that you are in Canada and thought that you may be interested to know that the "T" in the serial number indicates that it was manufactured in Toronto, or more precisely Mississauga ON at a Wajax facility.

Thank you very much, that did the trick.
Garry, the Hyster serial numbers identified a series, not the individual trucks within the series. D3 was the H30- 60 H series.
The only way to determine which truck you have is by checking the distance from the centre of the rear wheel and a point on the back of the counterweight. That point 14.2 inch above the ground which is the tow pin centre line.............not the easiest measuring points but it is the way its shown on the spec. sheet.
H30H 14.5 it is inches. Dist. between centre of front and rear axles 61.2
H40H 15.5 " " 61.2
H50H 19.4 " " 61.2
H60H 15.8 (has a longer frame) " 68.0
The most common models were the 40 and 50 in UK
The capacities were eg for the H40H, 4000lb at 24 in load centre.
Hope you know now which dinosaur you have ! sorry no manual.
An afterthought...the capacity of the counterweight may be cast into the counterweight at a point that is not visible from the outside. It is only visible after the counterweight is removed. (eg 40 is 4000 lb capacity)
