When raising the mast it lowers a couple of inches before rising. Any help ? Thanks.

Most lift systems have a anti cavitation valve in the lift circuit. It allows the pressure to balance between the lift cylinder and the pressure feed hose before the oil is allowed to flow. That way the cylinder does not drop too balance the pressure. Not sure where it is at on a Toyota.
