The lines are accessed under right and left side panel for power unit side of mast and behind and below operators seat for carriage side.
That dosent sound very safe , I don't think that would be the way to go,I haven't looked at any of this make/model crown,I am just going by what I have run into on order pickets and the like.....with the carriage elevated,just as soon as you did take the hose off the carriage would drop and that isn't very wise OR safe!
There has to be a way to access the hoses on the bottom of the cylinders either thru the battery compartment or from the top down somehow,without looking at the lift I can't say which way it will be....
Thanks for the reply, my other questions would be if you need to elevate the carriage to get an access plate...battery was out at time didn't see any hoses or access to.Again just wondering if a crane is needed to get to the other end hose fitting..
Not sure on this truck,but some I've worked on you can pull the battery out either all the way if you can,or half way left/then right,should/might be access ports/holes to reach the bottom hose connections on the cylinders,is something to check and see if yours is this way.
