hi shane you can use another 48 volt battery with extension wire so you can plug it and start the truck. you cannot bypass the reach hydraulic unless you will unplug the reach cylinder hose and pull.

Hi guys,
its been a while so i thought id just ask it again if anyone can help me out with info on my original questions:

1:Our problem is that we have a very old R14 reach truck and the battery cable has broken away from inside the battery box. The battery compartment is unlatched and only about 4 inches open. Is there a way to bypass the hydraulics so we can pull and extend the mast to access the battery compartment?

2: And also if anyone has a maintenance manual that may be very helpful to us also. Thanks in advance Shane
