if you check the EV100 troubleshooting guide on this code you will see there are many things that can trigger this code. Here is what it says as possible causes:

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Defective 2 REC circuit.
* Check that 2 REC will gate on.
* Check for open circuit or loose connection
between 2 REC gate and PZ10 (white/red wire).
* Check for open circuit or loose connection
1 REC and 1 C through the 2 REC circuit.
Defective 5 REC circuit.
* Check for shorted 5 REC.
* Check for shorted 5 REC snubber (25 REC)
Open Choke (1X).
* Check for open circuit between T5 and T3.
Ohm meter should read zero ohms.
F or R contactor or power tips bouncing open.
* Check that power tips on F and R contactor
power tips do not bounce open during operation
(ie: travel over speed bumps or dock plates).

Now if you want the complete manual on this you can always go to flight systems website and get it.

What i usually find in most cases with these codes is a bad rec, it HAS TO be checked with a tester that can gate and preferrably load tested using a leak test like the handyman tester can do.
Using a VOM test or just pulling off gate wires is not definitive enough imo. It is easy to let one component throw you a curve on these panels and lead you around in circles, you usually wind up testing ALL the related components to find the culprit causing the issue.

I'm still fighting with this truck I have confired that rec 2 is good and the wiring to it is good It has the same symptoms without the gate wire hooked up. I double checked the contacts and all looks good I also swapped out the suppressors for recs 2 and 5.

code 47 looks to me like a #2 rec not turning on, and this would agree with your stated symptoms. maybe #2 rec you replaced is in backwards? or is a bad rec? this assumes that you have completely ruled out bad "at rest" directional contactors. (pulling in is not enough, it has to make good contact when "at rest" also)
