We've been Heli dealers in Orlando-Tampa for many years. Heli older models with the PSI engines had issues but it was more a PSI engine problem related to electronics then the actual forklift.

Heli moved to Kubota engines in Class 4 & 5 and have been doing great, very minimal warranty claims, Heli's in the rental fleet have performed very well for us.

Quality wasn't the issue, Hangcha product is just fine whether it's branded HC or Utilev. The reason that HC don't build anything now for Hyster is that NACCO bought Maximal a second-tier Chinese manufacturer and are selling rebranded machines as Hysters. Rumour has it all small truck Hyster/Yale production will move there in due course to join many other well-known brands who produce trucks in China either themselves or using a Chinese manufacturer but keep quiet about it.

I am being told that Hangcha no longer supplies trucks under the brands Hyster and Utilev due to bad experiences with the trucks.

Hi guys,
We sold a few HC trucks, they are from 1,5t to 2,5t LPG and diesel trucks, so far they are working good with Nissan and Isuzu engines and some kind of japanese transmission. They are a copy of Toyota. Warranty will expire this year, we have only seen one small oil leak. No experience with Heli though

Demolition derby?? Not at all it's a site that looks after it's fleet fairly well yes it's smaller trucks in the 2 to 3 ton range get some stick but the European trucks hold up very well they bought 3 HC 12 tonne trucks and they had nothing but problems with leaks axles breaking chassis welds failing etc while working in a yard with a decent floor. Sorry oldforker while the trucks from China may be getting better they are still a **** of a long way behind European trucks

Is your customer running demolition derbies Lifter01? Yes I'm an HC dealer (we dumped Nissan for HC and not because of price)and have sold and run in our own rental fleet for over 10 years now and in all sorts of industries including steel mills scrap yards, ports, warehouse, timber, you name it and your list of woes just doesn't fit with our experience. 10 years ago there were areas that needed improvement and HC have been great in improving design engineering and quality control and listening to us on these things. In fact after 35 years in the forklift business in my opinion HC are the equal of any other
truck in the market and way better than many much more well known brands.
Am I biased? maybe but only on the basis of what's in front of me.

Hangcha has excellent build quality?? I take it your a hangcha dealer oldforker?? We lost a customer to hangcha they wanted to save money by cutting down on mhe cost and thought this was a good way to go (I work for one of the big 4). Faults with the hangcha trucks, broken axles, welds failing nearly anywhere on them, cylinders failing, a mast broke on a 10 ton truck failed and that's just for starters. The customer learnt a valuable and expensive lesson. Yes we got the business back
