Discussion:
Front blue pedestrian safety spotlight retrofit

working on deploying front and rear blue safety spotlights across our fleet of 90 8FGCU32 (-30's, -25's) Rear spot 12v feed can be pulled from the reverse warning alarm (some of the newer lifts have a socket in the upper rear harness already set aside for the blue spot. 12v feed for the front blue spot is a greater challenge. Anyone have experience retrofitting? Pulling a feed from the directional switch on the column, perhaps? Pulling a feed from the F/R relays in the relay box under the left sponson below the fuse box has proved to be involved... Anyone with insights or ideas or practical experience greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

If your tapping into the control circuit for the trans consult your dealer first for liability reasons.

The ones I see equipped with a front blue light it's lit up as soon as the trucks on.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
