FLD OPEN Fault

When I try to go foreward this error comes up,though it will move in reverse. The traction contactor opens when you try to go foreward. The CAN Bus wires are ok to the motor from the controller. I maintain about 50 reach trucks and orderpickers and am trying to learn all I can in the process about minor repairs.
