I have an ongoing issue with an 8FGCU25 and a check engine light - E 01-5. I have replaced the regulator ( for a rolling idle) and the O2 sensor. About 20 minutes into use the code reappears. The exhaust smells like rotten eggs as if a vacuum leak, but none found. On the screen I can see the O2 voltage fluctuate ( 21 - 38) and 0-1 switching. I have cleaned the carb, but not any of the valves as in prior posts. Any ideas?

Just in case you are still having troubles. Is it an early 8 series? They had problems with them running good but with that rotten egg smell being a problem with the ecu. If you work for a dealer, there should be some kind of bulletin on it.
1-5 is lean condition. Check OX value. Replace inline filter
Might be low LP tank /. If the value flips back and forth from
1/2. Then it's acting normal, on-off-on. Etc, rebuild regulator and retest
Not yet. But I will and will report back, thanks.
You have to have the correct inj. time and vf voltage or will keep getting the code and idle issue. Did you pull the black valve on the side of the carb where the lp hose is? they can give you a idle issue.
Anyone help on this? I am having the same issue with this code too.
