Discussion:
DPF regen instructions

We just purchased a S80FT with a Kubota diesel engine. We use this truck in a frequent start/stop and little run time environment with several different operators. The operators are having a hard time with the regen process is there a short version of the instructions for the regen process??? Any help would be great.

There should be a guide in the operators manual. If not you can get one from your local dealer. Also, the display should show the state of the regen. If the operator pays attention they will know when to leave the truck running until the cycle completes. You can force a parked regen.
