your lights are factory installed?
because if not, the problem is there. you must reinstall the lights
on another point. have you a wiring diagram?
I manage a large fleet of forklifts and after years of battling lighting issues, with the cost of bulbs, and labor to troubleshoot and repair lighting I finally replaced all my lighting with LED. By going with LED has really put me out of the lighting and light bulb business. We repaced lighting as they failed and ordered new equipment with factory LED lighting by doing it this way eased the cost some by spreading it out over a period of time. Know that we have 100% LED including strobes and mni light bars our down time for lighting issues is almost 0%.
Okay tried it all and still nothing both lights blow after a second. Boggles my mind.
Ok I will try that thanks.
Then if all is wired properly I would suggest checking the bulb's socket for a short. If it is ok, do the "belt & suspenders" routine - double check the wiring.
Well I got the bulb off of another walkie which is the exact same system and it was working fine on the other one. I did "rewire" it because all the wires were smashed and was sure to follow where they went before.
Start by verifying that the bulb is rated for 24 volts & not 12 volts.
