I have a Crown PE 4000-60 walkie and there are 2 working lights on the posts. The problem is when I put the new bulb on the light stays on for one second and then they both burn out. I have 24V DC right at the bulb and there is a fuse for the 2 lights and a fan but the fuse is not blowing and the fan works just fine. There is a relay which controls these 2 functions but if it was a bad relay then the fan wouldn't work either, so I think and I could be wrong. Any suggestions would be great.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
