Showing items 1 - 5 of 5 results.
it sounds like either the lift drive selector switch is not changing the circuit and when you move the joystick it is driving even though you have it in lift mode.
I would check the switch and make sure it is working correctly
also i would also check the control relays CR52 and CR51.

Hi Thanks for responding.
I have contacted Genie and am awaiting a reply.
I do seem to have a strange problem with our GR-15.
When it is switched to ground controls the platform raises and lowers correctly.
When it is switched to Platform controls and switched to drive the machine drives forwards and backwards and steers correctly.
But when it is switched to Platform controls and switched to lift position, the top alarm on the base unit sounds constantly and when you try to lift the platform the unit drives backwards.

hi hawk,
yeah i was looking in the book and it does not have that specific schematic number in it. They start at ES0083B on page 6-6 for that serial number range. That one should be the same as your unit. You can contact genie and see if they have that specific schematic number though.
I can say the wiring in these units does remain very similar across the board unless they make any upgraded additions or design changes.
You can also look in the literature box and see if that specific schematic was included with the lift, usually it would be in there if so (providing it hasn't been removed at some point).

Hi Thanks for the reply.
I cant seem to find the correct drawing for the model I have, unless i am missing something.
The Nameplate on the lift shows:
Model GR-15
Serial No. GR03-2347
Model Year: 2003
Elec/Hydr Schematic: ES0084.
Not sure if can upload a photo of the nameplate on here, so you could see all the details.

you can go on genie's website and get the literature you need, it is not restricted, it is open for public consumption and what you seek is there ;o)

The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
