Code 524260-1

Apparently this is a ground short issue. Looking for advice on where to start looking. This unit has multiple codes. Starts great, runs 30 seconds then shuts down. Throttle is unresponsive while running.

Go after the simple problems first.

Is the battery more than 3 years old ?

Is the battery maintenance free ? Or Lead Acid/might need water.

Is the bolt that secures the Negative cable loose or corroded ?

You will have to follow the wire harness to see if you can find anywhere the 5v may have rubbed through and touching ground. Remember all 5v are the power to all sensors. They do break it up on to segments from vsm.
