Discussion:
Changed Fluids, Now Crank No-Start....

I bought a Hyster YC-40 off craigslist for $800.00. It was starting and running just fine. I changed the Hydro Oil, Engine Oil, and Transmission Fluid. Now, it will crank but not turn over. This is extremely puzzeling? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!

i would check the battery and load test it to see if its ok,then check the starter, sounds like it is dragging or needs rebuilt/replaced. Do a voltage drop test from the battery to the solenoid and a drop test on the negative cables, check for good ground connection on negative cable from battery.

Yes it cranks and trys to turn over. If I hold down the gas pedal it almost makes it.

"it will crank but not turn over"?? Does it just make a click or does the starter turn the flywheel and just wont fire?
